TALLOW AND WOOL EXPORTS.

TOTALS FOR JANUARY. According to returns compiled by Messrs. D.ilgety and Co. the exports of tallow during January totalled 1011 tons, of which 3£) were shipped from Wellington. The other principal shipments wore:—Napier ISB, and Gisbonie 210 tons. The total for tho seven months to dato is COOS tons, as against 803S for the corTesnonding period last year. Wellington's contribution for the seven months is 1705 tons, as compared with 24M tons for tho corresponding seven mouths last year. Tho wool exports for tho month was 100,505 bales, the heaviest shipments boiiiß 29,9-10 bales from Christchurch, 21,923 from Wellington, and 11,818 bales from Gisborne. For tho seven months, 227,505 bales have been sent away, as against 272,518 bales for tho corresponding seven months of last year.
