COUNCILLOR HINDMARSH.
Sir,—Seeing that on the verge of a wHlonient Conncillor Hindmarsh has so far forgotten himself as to insult the Acting-Mayor ; aad the conncil, why does not the council exorcise its powers, and suspend Councillor Hindmarsh for a month? Such "Jack-in-the-box" conduct on his part should bo put down with a firm hand. Tho council has the necessary power. It should - exercise it, and put this conncillor in his place. The council wanto stiffening np badly.—l am, etc., CITIZEN.
