MAGISTRATE'S COURT.
(Before Dr. M'Arthur, S.M.) . VAGKANCT. ' THREE MEN IMPRISONED. Norman Reginald Smith, Sydney Hunter, and John Faithful were charged with being idle and disorderly persons in that they had insufficient 'awful 'means of support, and,-also, in tluu they habitually consorted vritli reputed thieves. ' Smith and Hunter were sentenced to thre2 months* imprisonniout. Mr. IT. F. OT/eary appeared for Faithful and showed that the defendant had sufficient lawful moans of support, His Worship, therefore, discharged Faithful on the first charge; but ho sentenced him to three months' imprisonment on the second count. OTIIER CASES. For insobriety Robert M'Namara ■Wα? fined .£1; and Uenry was convicted and discharged. >lii;li:ifl Aylward was sentenced to. one mouth's imprisonment for his disobedience of a maintenance' order.
