Wedding at Sacred Heart Church. At the Sacred Heart Chnrch, Hill Street, on Januarr 17, the wedding took place of Miss Ruby E. Burns, daughter of Mrs. M. Burns, of Featherston Terrace, to Mr. Alfred Fagg, of Hythe, Kent, England. The bride, who was given away by her brother, Mr. G. Burns, wore a grey tailor-made costume and hat to match. Miss Eva Loyd, of Hokitika, who attended as bridesmaid, was frocked in blue voile, with a large black hat. The Rev. Father Peoples, S.M., officiated, and Mr. F. Burns acted as best man. Wedding at the Pro-Cathedral. Yesterday (Thursday), at St. Paul's Pro-Cathedral, Miss Yon Dadelszen, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. E. J. Von Dadelszen, Bolton Street, was married to Mr. Keith Morton Ollivier, son of the late Mr. Arthur Ollivier, of Christehurch. The bride, who was given away by her futher, woro a charming gown of Oriental satin, draped with a'scarf of Irish lace, and her tulle veil was arranged over a wreath of orange blossoms. She was attended by four bridesmaids, tho Misses Thyra and Bremla Von Dadelszen, sisers, Miss Ollivier, sister of the bridegroom, and little Doreen M'Brearty, of Greymouth. They were all attired in dainty frocks of white muslin, over silk, with large black hats, lined with pink satin-and lace ruffles, and trimmed with lace wings. Their bouquets were composed of sweet peas. The Rev. A. M. Johnson performed the ceremony, and Mr. Edward Richardson officiated, as best man. Messrs. Harold Von Dadelszen, C. Brown, and Master Barrie Blundell acted us groomsmen. The church was decorated charmingly with masses of scarlet geranium and foliage. The bridegroom presented liberty imndants both to (ho bride and bridesmaids. After the wedding, a reception was held at the residence of thu bride's parents. Mrs. Von Dadelszen received in a dress of black crepe do chine, and a black and white hat. Havelock Wedding. A prottv wedding was celebrated in St. Paul's Church. C'nnvastown, on December 20, when Miss Maud Beatrice Alqiusi. eldest daughter of Mr. A. Alquist, of Canvastown, was married to Mr. George Couzcns, of Kaituna. The bride, who was given away by her father, was attired m a gown of. while Indian silk, trimmed with silk insertion, and wore the usual veil and orange blossoms. Sho also carried a,beautiful spray bouquet of white flowers. Miss Annie Wells, the chief bridesmaid, wore a pretty frock of white silk muslin, and the three little maids, Miss T. Boon and Missos May and Alma Alquist, sisters of the bride, were,, dressed in white embroidered muslin. The bridesmaids' gifts from the bridegroom were enamelled broochos, and to the brido a J pearl bangle. The Rev. E. Parker was ■ the officiating minister. Mr. and Mrs. G. Gouzens left during tho afternoon for Blenheim, en route to Wellington. Hastings Wedding. The marriage of Miss Beatrice Greenheld, second daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. A. Greenfield, of Hastings, to Mr. George Spencer Clapham, son of the late Mr. T. D. Clapham, also of Hastings, was celebrated at the residence of the bride's parents on January !), the. Rev. T. Walli.s officiating. The bride, who was given away by her father, wore a pretty gown of white liberty silk. The .Misses Mabel Greenfield 'and Grace Clapham, sisters of the bride and bridegroom respectively, attended as bridesmaids, wearing frocks of pale pink lusterino silk. Mr. ,T. AV. Clapham acted as best man, and Messrs. Alex Brown and A. Smith as groomsmen. Mr. and Mrs. G. Clapham left later by motor-car tor tho south. Miss Myrtle Barber, who has been spending the holidays at Nelson and,Muritai, sails by the Tainui on February 22 for London. Mr. and Mrs. M*R,xo arrived from- tho Wnirarapa yesterday, and are staving at Kenilworth." Mr. and Mrs. Tattersall pnd family, of Napier, are sailing in March for a trip to-England. Mrs. J. G. George and tiw Misses George are also leaving Hawko's. Bay this month on a voyage Jiome! Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Mead, nho havo bpcu staying at the Hotel Windsor for tho rast week, are returning to Christchurch this evening. Mrs. Ernest Hrben, of Palmerstou North, has been visiting Wellington for a few days. - Miss Elsie Williams, of Frimley, is in Hawko's Bay again, after her 'English tour. i Sir Maurice OTtorke, who arrives on Monday to attend the University Senate, will be staying at "Keuilworth," Hill Street. Captain and Mrs. H. Grey, visitors from London, who arrived in Sydney, by way of Japan, are now touring tho Dominion. Miss Adam, from Havelock North, is at present in Wellington. Mr. and Mrs. Firth left yesterday for Auckland, from which place they sail on an cxtensivo tour -of the Continent and Home. j

Tho marriage of Miss Becky Ulcman, of Glenlvon, Hustings. Hawke's Bay, to Mr. Arthur Pctheri'ok, F.I.A.N-/.., public accoiuitanl. Wellington, will take place at St. .Matthew's Church, Hastings, on Wednesday, January 21. Miss Harry Beard, of Sydney, is at present visiting her sister, Mrs. George Beard, at Hastings. Miss Mabel Douglas, daughter of Mrs. W. S. Douglas, of I'a.rnell, is leaving next month for the Argentine, where her marriage to Mr, Harrv Steele, son of Mr. T. J. Steele, of Remiwni, is to take place. Mrs. A. Ollivier and Miss Ollivier (who came over from Christehurch to be present at Miss Von Dadelszen's wedding to Mr. Ollivier) 'leave to-day for Rotorua. Madimo Boeufve has taken a houso at Seatoun for the remainder of the summer. Mr. Hcllaby and Miss Nellie Hellaby, of Mount Eden, Auckland, are leaving for England on January 29. Mr. and Mrs. J. Erasmus, of Te Aroha, are also sailing on January 29 for Sydney, where they will join the Persic, en route to South Africa.
