Tho Gorman authorities, he declr-Tos, are much mistaken as to its invincibility. Apart from its numbers, its confidence in itself, and its high organisation, it docs not present any signs of superiority over ('ho best foreign models.
In somo ways it dcos not riso above the standard of a sccond-rato army. It has, tho correspondent assorts, trained itself stale. The German artillery is much inferior to tho French.
