Maissin, manager of tho Pont de Bois Gunpowder Factory, who, according to the newspaper "Matin" has declared that his predecessor was responsible for tho powder causing tho Jena and Liberto disasters through remanufacturing old powder and delivering it to the naval authorities as new, states that ho denounced those responsible for the los 3of tho Jena at tho close of tho inquiry regarding tho disaster, but that his letter \ras suppressed. M. Louppe, ex-manager of tho Pont de Bois powder factory, declares that he manufactured in accordance with the regulations. There was no bad work done in his timo.
