SUPPOSED SUICIDE.

RETIRED CIVIL SERVANTS DEATH. William Carl Herman von Keisenborg, a retired Civil Servant, residing: at 2&S Tinakori Read, dicxl from the effects of a revolver wound in the head shortly before 1 p.m. yesterday. Indications point to th« wound being- self-inflicted. Deceased, ivho was a widower and a native of Germany, was s"> years of age, and had been bed-ridden for tho lust six years. Lately ho has boon suffering from tits of despondency, but appeared to be as usual when his daughter took Id's breakfast in at 9 a.m. ycsl'erday. Prior to his death he had been attended by Dr. Pattie. Tho revolver, which was found to havo been discharged from one chamber, had previously be;n owned by his son. Some months ago he heard of it being in his son's possession, and being afraid that an accident might happen, took the firearm away, and placed it underneath the bed for safety. What followed afterwards has not boon stated. An inquest will b» held at 2.30 p.m. to-day.
