There was an alarming incident at the Leicestershire Agricultural Show on July 2D. Two bulls, apparently irritated by the intense heat, broke loose from their fastenings, and attacked each other. The shed in which they were cliaincd was demolished, and they fought : out in the open, scattering the crowd in all directions. Attendants pluckily secured the animals before anyone was injured, although several people had very narrow escapes.
