Whitaker Thompson, has written to (ho directors of Earl's Court Exhibition, forwarding tho protest of tho London Synod of tho Wosleynu Church against tho proposed Johnson-Wolls fight. Tho chairman recalls tho council's prohibition of the kincmalcgrapluc films of the Johnson-Jeffries fight at Eeno and adds that tho proposed contest may seriously imperil the renewal of tho Earl's Court license in November. The Free Church Council is communicating with the leaders of religious bodies in order to secure combined action. • '■' "
