Tho rain lias damped tlio enthusiasm of tho schoolboys on striko in London, "but disturbances have continued at Leeds, Sheffield, Birkenhead, Colchester, Leith, Coventry, Newport, Luton, Grantham, Northampton, Leicester, Folkestone, Greenock, Dublin, Liverpool, Nottingham, and Grimsby. At these centres there have been tho usual processions and intimidation of blacklegs. Tho London dockers' striko of 1889, which ended on September 18 of that year, was followed a month later by strikes of schoolboys for shorter hours and fewer lessons at llawick, Dundee, Aberdeen, Glasgow, Greeuock, Kdinburgh, Cardilf, Liverpool, Leeds, Port of Loudon, Northampton, Brighton, and other places. ! __________
