All tho Tilbury docks aro involved, except the Port of London Authority employees. Ten thousand men aro idle. Tho lonic was unable to unload lier meat and fruit cargo. The clerical staff enabled tho passengers to secure their luggage. ; ■ . The Peninsula and Oriental, Blue Funnel; and Shaw, Savill Lines are affected. The men assert that the masters recently agreed to pay a uniform rato of Bd. an hour to all classes of dock workers, and the masters now repudiate the agreement. Tho Newport dockers' strike has been settled, after a conference lasting twentytwo hours. From Gisborne—l7l casks tallow, 36 casks pelts, 9110 carcasses mutton, 870 carcasses lamb, 1609 quarters beef, 32 casks tallow. From Auckland—lso3 cases and 279 sacks kauri gum, 561 sacks .copra, 422 bales hemp, 52 crates cheese. From Napier—2sl. quarters beef, 2282 carcasses mutton, 1740 carcasses lamb, 17 cask's tallow, 189 bales wool. Soma 13,000 cases of Tasmnnian apples were taken to South American ports.
