FOR MAGISTRATE'S COURT. A case which is said to bo (ho first of its kind in New' Zealand is expected to como on lor hearing nt tho Magistrate's Court, Wellington, to-day. .Information has been laid against Patrick James Murphy, of Hihitahi, near Taihape, that he "did offer to accept money as an inducement to abstain from bidding as an intending purchaser of a license of Crown lands, to wit, a pastoral run of about HOO acres, in the Raketapauma Block, being part Section . 3 and Section i, Block 13, Moawhango Survey District; part Section 1 and Sections 5, li, and 7, Block i, Maungarchr Survey District; and part Section 3 and Sections 4 and 5, Block 7, Maungakaretu Survey District, contrary to tho forms of the statute iu such cases made and provided." '
