FORECAST AND SUMMARY. Present indications are for inereasine. northerly winds, and gales are probable southward of New Plymouth and Napier. Cloudy and unsettled weather, preceding rain, in most parti of the country; Tho barometer has a falling tendency everywhere, especially in the south, and the seas are'increasing on all the western coast. The barometer rose in the north during the night, but. has fallen everywhere to- . day. Cloudy and hazy weather has prevailed, with showers in a few places.
