Mr Baldwin, chairman, of the Hutt District High School, has given a donation in the shape of a free place in secondary education, to the pupil obtaining the highest aggregate marks in the school, and also a prize for the pupil who obtains the highest marks in the Kings Road SchoolSCHOOL IMPROVEMENTS. The Hutt District High School Committee have resolved to spend the sum of £60 on improvements to the grounds of King's Road School. A deputation from the committeo will wait upon the Education Board, to determine what work shall be done_
