Complaint* are still matin, according to Iho Smitlifield note.-' in Uio "I'asior.Uists' Review," of the dressing ami gei-up ot' New Zealand lambs, Canterbury especially. It is plain that tlic care which used to be taken is not: taken now, and, ot' course, as this is not ail insured risk, the farmer suitors. A very common fault is stained less from the gall ha;*. And the skin is torn off. All this, in the interest of the producer, ought to be looked into.
