Wheat is' (roughly) threo busTiels nn acre below the average, oats three bushels.' bai'ley four bushels, maize nine bushels., Tho cojiiplcte list shows that with the exception of potatoes, all this sea'son's averages arc down. Tho following aro tho averages of "nil the crops (tho figures in parentheses are 'tho ten years' averages):—Wheat, 25.8 (31.39); oats, 30.2 (39.41); barley. 30.3 (34.5); maize, 41,4 (50.31); peas, 25.51 i (32.01); rye-grass, 413 (595.2); cocksfoot, 167.66 (184.05); rod clover, 18.t; potatoes, 6.4 (5.84); turnips, 18.19; mangolds, 21.05.
