Anions them aro those of Professor John Wight Duff, of the Classical Chair at Armstrong College, Newcastle, who has recently written a History of J,atin Literature; Mr. J. G. C; Anderson, a member of a brilliant Aberdeenshire family, who lias been associated with Professor Ramsay in the study of archaeology; Professor Alex. Souter, of the Chair "of Now Testament Greek at Mansfield College, Oxford, mi authority on Palaeography, and a specialist in.Patristic Latin; and Messrs. J. Murray and W. Calder, of Christ Church, Oxford, who havo both splendid records 'for scholarship.
