,;.',• EPISODE. ' (By Telegraph.—Press Association.! Auckland, January 25. A Court "of-Inquiry, at : Tonga dismissed the .charge against A. ;D. Cameron, ■president of the Toga Maa Toga Co-opera-xive Association,: with.,3oCO Tongan mem:bers, which was. formed for the disposal of copra. .The charge alleged that Cameron issued a "faked" .balance-sheet and ,embezzjod funds. . The- Court expressed Jthe opinion that tho alleged irregularity idid not affect the total of .the balancesheet,; though the statement of one item' obscured the person to whom a liability of in copra in. transit, was due. It characterised the evidence of Humphreys, on which the case for the prosecution largely rested, ,as showing prejudice; and animosity against accused. The Court ■ expressed. ' strong opinion ■against the manner in which the charges tot embezzlement were brought.
