ORARI FROM . LIVERPOOL. .. On Saturday morning at 5.25 o'c*o:k (he New Zealand Shipping Co.'s twin-screw steamer Orari, Captain J. P. Foredick, arrived at Wellington from Liverpool, via Auckland, and borthed at Queen's Wharf No. 6. Leaving Liverpool on November 27 for Auckland direct, tho Orari made ?. fast passage out of <6 days, arriving there on January 12 at 7.45 a.m. Fino. weather con* ditions prevailed during tho wholo voyage. The vessel brought about 70C0 tons of cargo for New Zealand ports, and after completing discharge of tho Auckland portion (consisting of 1625 tons) the Orari continued her voyage to Wellington, arriving aa stated.

Line's steamer Durham arrived in the stream from Liverpool, via. Capo Town, Hobart, and Auckland. A report of the voyage states that, after erabarUiug passenger.?, the Durham left Liverpool on November 17, lino weather generally being met with on the, run to Las Palmas, which was reached on tho morning of November 24. The vessel resumed her voyage tho same day, Cape Town being reached on December 13. After leaving the Capo on December 19, the Durham ran into a fresh gale, with high seas, which caused her to roll heavily. Fine weather was then encountered, the vessel on a consumption of 47 tons of coal a day maintaining an average spoed of 10.5 knota per hour from tho South African nort to llobart. On January 5, when Hearing the Taomanian coast, the Durham experienced a, strong gale, with high confused-following sea, and heavy hailstorms. Moderate weather then prevailed till liobart- was reached on January 7. After a, stay of two day& , departure was taken for Auckland, where j «;ho arrived on January 16.
