ATTRACTIONS ON MONDAY. Members of the public..seeking.'entertainment on Moiiday (Anniversary Day) will have a tolerably wide - choice. Among, tho many attractions of the dav, may be reckoned-the excursion trip to Picton by the. s.s. Maori, which leaves, the Queen's Wharf at-8: a.m.',: and tho summer meeting of tho Wellington Racing Club at Trontham. Tlio Port Nicholson Sailing Club has selected the day.for:a regatta. At tlio Basin Reserve tho senior and junior teams of -tho Wellington Wednesday Cricket Association and--the-Canterbury Thursday Association- are to Commence their■representative games which' conclude on tho following day.'-'Bowling:will.;bo in progress on all -the local greens. In addition there'will bo the usual rango of railway, tramway, and harbour ferry excursions..' The gardens at-'Bellevue, Taita, "and Karori '-will all be- open for the entertainment of tlio public. As 'to.'evening"'entertainments '.'Tlio Lion .and tho Mouse" .will make its filial appearanco at 'tlio Opera House. Picture programmes will bo oil view at His Majesty's Theatre, and King's Theatre, the Town Hall, and St. Thomas's Hall, Newtown. The usual vaudeville entertainment' will bo. presented at the Thoatro Royal. ■
