——$ Messrs. Dalgety and Co. report:—A special Dale of dairy cows was held at Ngamoko, near Dannevirke. yesterday, wlisn 28 dairy cows were submitted to a good, attendance of buyers. A cood line, on account of Mr. Austin Olson, which was in full profit, elicited keen competition, selling from £4 to £13 17s. 6d., and making the satisfactory I average of £8 ss. Those offered on account i of Mr. 0.-Thorcsen were early calvers, and ' there was .very little profit left for this season. In consequence of this, buyers were somewhat backward in biddinsr. and prices ruled from £3 ss. to £8 10s., with an average of £4 13s. Messrs. Dalgcty and Co. report:—At our weekly .
