In such a case, of course, tho council has no jurisdiction, hut it seema determined to prevent any more congestion oi the same sort occurring within the borough boundaries.- ,

.The Wanganui Agricultural Association recently circularised several leading breeders asking for suggestions as to the. best methods of increasing interest in the show, 1 and augmenting the list of entries. In the replies received canvassing for entries was. strongly advocated, while., one forceful;letter; contained'some excellent' suggestions for encouraging tho young farmer to show "natural feed" l stock in contradistinction to the pampered, article and also'dwelt on the ne. cessity for encouraging the young far-'' mer to exhibit.
