EXPLOSIVE ON A TRAM LINE. I By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyrißht.;' • (Eec. January 18, 10.50 p.m.) Perth, January 18. Four hoys, the eldest being aged nine, j placed a quantity of gelignite on the tram I line at Gwalia goldficfd.
They hid in the vicinity, watching for the result. The sun fortunately melted and partially destroyed the explosive. A tram passed over, and tho gelignite exploded and tore a liolo in the ground a foot deep, also damaging the line. Tho tramcar escaped undamaged.
