Prince Leopold of Battenberg,. who is making a tour of the world, sailed for Auckland in tho Victoria, which left Sydney yesterday afternoon. His Highness is a son of Princess Beatrice, fifth daughter of Queen Victoria, and is twenty-two years of age.

. The Prime Minister to-day will be in "Wellington, and the Hon.. Dr.. Findlay at Christchurch. The Hon. J. Carroll, the Hon. J. A. Millar, the Hon. R. M'Kenzie, the Hon. D. Buddo, the Hon. T. Mackenzie, and tho Hon. A. T. lygnta-. are all in Wellington.

By the Uiimaroa yesterday there returned to Wellington several .of the New. Zealand delegates to the Australasian Science Congress, which was held recently at Sydney. Among the party were Professor H. B. Kirk (of the Chair of Biology at Victoria College), Professor Marshall (Otago University), and Mr. A. Hamilton, Director of tho National Museum. Professors Skeats and Payne, two Australian scientists, who are paying a' visit to New Zealaed, were also with the parly, and yesterday afternoon wero shown over Victoria College by Professor Kirk. Professor Laby is still in Australia.

Tho Rev. J. Cocker, of Auckland, was yesterday re-elected editor of "The New Zealand Primitivo Methodist." The Rev. J. Dawson, of Wellington, was re-ap-pointed joint editor.
