HIBERNIAN SOCIETY.
The Hibernian Society (St.. Patrick's Branch, No; 95) met last evening in St. Patrick's Hall, " the ~ branch president (Bro. W. J. Fcehey) occupying' the chair. An acknowledgment of the letter forwarded to the leader of the Irish Parliamentary party (Mr. J. E. Redmond, M.P.), congratulating the pariy on their success iu having the objectionable terms of the Coronation Oath deleted, was received. Mr'. Bcdmond thanked members for the kindly sentiments expressed. After the routine .business had been disposed of," the branch, in conjunction with' the' Ladies'" Society, spent' the" remainder of -tho evening socially, progressive euchre, musical items, and dancing being tho order of the The following were .'-"the prize-winners of tho euchre 'tournament.Misses Walsh and Gosling, and Messrs; Hauseman and Jloriarty: Musical items were rendered by-Mcssrsl'-MTJcniie and J. A. M'Keowen, the accompaniments and dance, music being played by Misses XJna Simon, Salmon, and Donpghiie.
