Subscriber.—(l) 1908 was a leap year. (2) No; leap year does not occur every four years. A year of 3CSJ days exceeds the true length of a solar year by llmin. Usee, amounting to a difference of one day in 128.years. It was therefore provided in the Gregorian Calendar that the intercalary day shculd bo omitted in all centenary years except those which arc multiplies of 400.
