BOYS ON STRIKE.
THEIR REQUESTS SOON GRANTED. By Tolceraph—rre3s Association—CourrlKht (Rec. January 17, 0.50 a.m.) Sydney, January 16. Twenty-two toys employed on the Gantry cranes at Darling Island wheat yards struck for an increase from four to five shillings daily. The lads interviewed tho Railway Commissioner, who granted wages of from 4s. Gd. to Gs., according to age, on a scale from 1G to 20 years.
