CALL TO TARANAIvI STREET. A fire broke out in ITS Taranaki Street last evening at 7.31 o'clock. The house, which contained seven rooms, and which was reported to be owned by Mr. Jobson, of Abel. Smilli Street, was unoccupied nt the time. Tho lire broke out apparently on tho landing nt the top of the stairs. The fire brigado received a timely coll, and soon had the outbreak under, the damage being confined to the lauding nnd a couple of rooms which were smoked.

To-day, at 1 p.m. sharp, Messrs. A. L. Wilson and Co. will sell by public auction the balance of Me-ssrs.
