COMING COLLEGE AT KELBURNE.
FOR TRAINING TEACHERS. . During the course of a short address to the training college students at tho "breaking-up" ceremony yesterday afternoon, the Hon. D. Buddo (Acting-Minis-ter for Education) announced, amid applause, that the Government had authorised tho Wellington Education Board to complete the purchase of tho site at Kelburno. whereon it is proposed to erect a new college building for the training of teachers. Of course, added tho Minister, he could give no definite assurance, in the absence of his colleague, the Hon. G. Fowlds, as to when tho building would be completed. That would bo considered when Mr. Fowlds returned from South Africa.
