Renter's correspondent states that the Duke of Connaught's heavy list of engagements to-day included, addresses in tho iCity Hall from tho Masonic bodies, brethren of constitutions of England, Ireland, Scotland, Netherlands, and also from the South African Grand Lodges. The Duke referred to the common brotherhood of Freemasons of every nationality under all circumstances. It was most satisfactory to learn that the lodges of South Africa were prospering. j TROOPS REVIEWED BY THE DUKE. ! ASSEMBLAGE AT GREEN POINT. Cape , Town, November l.i The Duke of Connaught, accompanied by the Duchess and Princess Patricia, this afternoon reviewed 4400 regulars, volunteers, bluejackets, marines, and cadets on Green Point Common, in the presence of a huge crowd, who greeted the'royalties most cordially. It was a stirring spectacle. . AUSTRALASIA'S REPRESENTATIVES. : PROPOSED ITINERARY. . Cape Town, November 1. Mr. Fisher, the Prime Minister of the Commonwealth, was present at the reception at Constantia. He subsequently attended the Assembly, which held a short sitting to elect : a Speaker. Reuter's agency states that Mr. Fisher and Mr. Fowlds- (Minister for Education. in New Zealand) will start on November 6 on an unofficial tour of South Africa. They will visit the principal towns, Victoria Falls, and Matoppo Hills, and Matabeloland. ' Mr. Fisher and Mr. Fowlds will return to Cape Town on December 1, and "sail for Australia on December 9, arriving in Adelaide on December 28. DINING WITH ROYALTY. \ (Rec.
