In conformity with a recommendation of the Eoyal Commission •on the Selection o( Justices, the clerk of the JUanohesterCity Justices has been requested to prepare a return of tho attendances of magistrates on the bench. Of tho 225 names on. the roll, only about one-half are on the rota regularly drawn up for attendance at the police court.
