RIFLE SHOOTING,
THE NGATIAWA CLUB. Firing on Saturday for tho Fresh Food and Ice Company's Cup, open to rifle clubs in the Otaki district, tho Ngatiawa Club defeated the Hautere, Shannon, Levin, and Paraparaumu Clubs, and carried off the trophy. This is the first important win which this promising club havo effected, aud it is interesting to note that the top. scorer (J. Stubbings) is'the youngest member in the team, and a. brother to the\winner of tho Elder- Cup last year. Both tho Stubbings brothers were coached by. the veteran rifleman Mr. G.
