A STORMY PASSAGE. . • At midday yesterday a barque' was/ sighted off Wellington Heads signalling for a tug. The Duchess made ready ana went out, the vessel proving to be- the Glcnsliee, 104 days out from. Liverpool to Wellington. Some little difficulty .was experienced by the tug. in picking the barque' up owing to a nor'-west gale that . was blowing fairly'hard outside. After a tow of 3J miles port was reached at 3,40 p.m., the Glenshcp anchoring in tho stream.Captain Anlakseu reports meeting ; with fair weather until rounding the Clape of Good Ilope. Here gale after calo was en-: countered, and, on coming up the easting, the heavy 6eas that came aboard carried away the bulwarks, ;. completely smashing four boats, i and' damaging a ilfth.
