A peculiar development in the State political situation is reported to-night. It iV stated on good authority, though official confirmation is wanting, that a recount of the Bingara vote gives Mr. Moore, ;Minister .for, lands, . a small majority over his Labour opponent, Mr. G. R. W. M'Donald, who was reported, to have defeated him by 40. votes. ' This would mean a tie, with, each party-in possession of .45, seats, out of 90. ' The news came to hand after Mr. Wade had ihanded in his resignation to the Governor. ■Mr. Wado stated, .however, that even. if the report, proves correct, ii would not alter the general situation, for although, a tio might be established,'.; his party, could, not a majority in the House,' and the proper course to- adopt .'was to- resign, and 'give Mr. M'Gowen a chance , to form a Jilinistry without any. further loss of timo. .- •- .
