the Management committee. ARRANGEMENTS FOR COACHING. The Management Committer of the -Wellington Cricket Association met last evening, Mr. M. Luclrio presiding. Also presont were: Messrs. Brodie, Pearce, Parton, Laws, Hickoy, Willis,' and Stevens, secretary. \ ' The-. sub-committee appointed to re-, port oil arrangements for coaching for the season 1910-11 presented tho fol-i lowing: recommendations: — Club Coaching. ' That each club bo asked to nominate; as many players as possible (not to; exceed ten from each club) to practise' under the professional's tuition on any, evening that may bo allotted, by, the association, from 5 to 6.30 p.m. Each club shall pay for each nominee the suiii of 10s., payable on or before the first day of December,' 1910. The names: of the nominees shall be forwarded to; the hon. secretary of the association, not later : than Tuesday,/ October 25. Practice shall start on Monday," October 31; A list ..is. to; .be prepared by the; association.'■comprising' 6uch nominees,' whose names will bo taken'in alphabeti-V cal order, and such nominees- shall be: divided equally between the four days available. Practice is to take .place onthe practice -wicket allotted '.to ;• the coach; for.- this purpose. The association asked the support of the .Wellington body to this, motion. In this connection, the.following figures illustrating the manner in which-Now ;Zealand: teams had been chosen; 'it was suggested; in a footnote,-.were interesting. They, had; been supplied by the' secretary j)f' the Nelson-'Association Sixty nlayers in all had represented New Zealand at' different-times, ;58 of whom had been chosen from.'.the'.fourl centres, Hawke'e: Bay, andi/Taraiiaki supplying ..the other two. -.0f..27 players who >haa played for; North v.
