ABORTION AMONGST COWS.

' ■,PRECAUTIONS IN ENGLAND. The; report of the Departmental Committee;'; appointed by the English Board of: Agriculture to inquire into • epizootic abortion, in cattle has been issued as a Blue -Book.. The witnesses examined without exception expressed the opinio that epizootic abortion is : a widespread .disease in the country, and! nearly all of them placed a. very high.estimate on the loss causes to. those, "who : am engaged • in' icattle-breeding and: dairying. Having explained the nature of the disease;, the report says it is constantly being spread: to-new 'herds by the . sale , of infected' cows. .
