The "Daily Telegraph," in commenting on the situation, says the- poll-in-dicates that in the opinion of the majority of the electorates the reduction'of licenses is not a process to be'repeated every, three years, but that, when once' the- hotels have-been'cut down'to meet the legitimate requirements of a district, there should be no further interference. A reasonable deduction to be drawn from the emphatic expression against even reduction is that the electorates as. a whole have refused to listen to the appeals in favour of No-License. The Liquor party is jubilant over what it claims to be . the strong ■ set-back received by the No-License movement.-' Canon Boyco admits that his party has not received the support it anticipated from the electors. \. • .
