Tiro executivo of the Boilermakers' Association, in a circular issued prior to the taking of the ballot among the unions as to the acceptance of the new agreement with; the employers, ; states that the terms include the speeding-up. of tho machinery. of arbitration in the event of sectional strikes. The circular adds that if the lockout continues it mil be impossible to provide strike pay. Already £30,000 had been borrowed' from' the. Superannuation Eund. ' '' The Clyde brandies of the Boilermakers' Association are dissatisfied with the new agreement. They demand full pay while the demands are being considered, and 5 por cent increase in the piece rates. • . , REJECTED AT HULL. (K«c.| October 16, 5.5 p.m.) London, October 15. Tho Hull branch of -the Boilermakers' Society has rejected the now agreement.
