Sydney, October 13., The Anglican General Synod adopted a resolution in favour of adapting tho Book of Common Prayer to tho needs of tho Church in Australia. - The resolution, which was mpyed by Archbishop Clarke (Melbourne) reads as follows: "This Synod requests the Primate and the Archbishops of Melbourne and Brisbane to take stops to adapt the Book of Common Prayer to tho needs of the Church in Australia in. accordance .with tho principles enunciated' in tho 27th of tho. resolutions adopted by the Lambeth Conference of 1908, and to submit tlio same to tho bishops for their consideration."
