M'Connachie, formerly a resident member of the Wellington Y.M.Q.A., andriowa resident in Johannesburg, has forwarded Mr. Holmes, in a letter, full particulars as to n ; Y.M.C.A. building campaign now being held in- that city. "We are having a Y.M.C.A. campaign at .present to find.the modest sum of at least .£30,000 to build a new "building. Tho campaign started on Tuesday, and will continue/for a fortnight only,, by which timo the committee-hope'to-have.--not ,£3o,ooo,'but ,£50,000. : For tho first two days they collected .£7OOO, so that seems promising."
