THE TOKOMARU CHARTERED. The New Zealand Shipping Company have chartered the Shaw. Sa.vill, and Aibion Company's steamer Tokomaru (6238 tons), to make a voyage from Montreal to Australian and New Zealand ports. The Tokomaru is announced to sail from Montreal on August 15, and will be duo at Auckland about October 16.

THF, TAINUI. It is now practically decided that tho Shaw. Sarill, and Albiou Company's steamer Tainui will call at Port Chalmers for outward loading about July 21. The ferry steamer ;I)uohess ia at present undergoing annual overhaul. . Mr. H. T. Eichardson, late of the Walnui, is to join the Komata as chief officer. Some time to-day the Navua is due at Dunedin from Wcstport, and. after discharge, she will eo to nort for overhaul preparatory to taking up the Monowai u running, Dunedin to Auckland, on July 13. The baraue EmnrezEV which left Kainnra last week with timber for Sydney, i* to load coal at Newcastle for Dunedin after discharge, and on arrival there she will be taken .over by the Union Company and dismantled. Captain M. M'Gresor has purchased Captain J. Quinn's interest in the auxiliary scow Southern Isle at Auckland, and has assumed command of the vessel. Tho turret steamer Koromiko left Fiji for Auckland at 5 p.m. on Wednesday with 36C0 tons of raw 6ucar. She will be duo at Auckland to-day.
