Beat the l>utter and sugar to a cream, boat in the eggs, then milk and flour. Stir well, and' let it stand iC possible. Put ill to buttered .saucers, and bake ill a quick oven l'or twenty minutes. Pile high on a dish, and spread jam between; sprinkle with sugar and serve. If the batter is allowed to staud add the whipped whites of eggs last of all. FOR TO-MORROW. One ox kidney.
