LORD PLUNKET INDISPOSED.

ARRANGEMENTS CANCELLED. (Br TeleeraDh.—Press Association.) Tokaanu, May 2. His Excellency Lord Plunket arrived at Tokaanu on April 22 intending to have a few days' fishing. Two days after hie arrival tho Governor contracted a severe chill, but is now slightly bettor. His medical adviser has ordered complete rest for at least a week, and his Excellency consequently will be obliged to cancel all engagements for the near future, and abandon his intended tour to Eotorua, Te Puke, Tauranga, Katikati, Waihi,' Paeroa, Te Aroha, and Hamilton. Lord Plnnket wishes it to be known that it is with very great regret that lie is unable to fulfil his engagements, and consequently have the opportunity of bidding faTOwell to people and places mentioned. JKis Excellency, however, hopes to be able to carry out a Masonic engagement in Wellington on May 11 and 12, and afterwards to tour the West Coast of the North Island as arranged.
