AN INTERESTING EVENT. : One of the most successful events infl the- history of the Thofndon Club was! decided at the Thorndon baths last, evening, viz., the L. W. Ludwig cap.- This race decided who was to hold! tho Challenge Cup presented by . ,Sir, Joseph Ward for the present year.; Thai club s handicapper (Mr. Barry . Smithy showed one of liis best efforts.
