HOSPITAL CHANGES.

HONORARY STAFF. COMPLIMENTARY REFERENCES. The Wellington Hospital Trustees have just made important changes in the honorary medical staff of the hospital. Reference was made,- at yesterday's meeting of tlio Trustees, to the. retirement of. several members of the staff who : have seen long and honourable service: ■ . •

The chairman (Hon. C. M. Luke, M.L.C.) moved to send a Jotter of thanks to the Hon. Dr. Collins, M.L.C*, for his long and distinguished services to the institution,. and to appoint him an honorary consulting surgeon. Mr. Luko said that Dr. Collins had been a member of tho honorary staff for tho last thirty years, a period which, ho believed, constituted a record for the Dominion. Ho had brought to bear upon his duties more- than average skill as a .physician, and.tb.is, with his consistent devotion, to duty, had marked him out as worthy of the special thanks of tho board.
