Mr. W. F. Massey, Leader of the . Opposition, is at present on a flying visit to Wellington. Hβ will return to Auckland within the next day or two. Speaking to a Dominion reporter yesterday, Mr. Maseey said that he intended to take up platform work directly after Easter. It is probable that he will speak first at the Thames and afterwards go on to Otago, returning via tho West Coast. Mr. Massey haa also promised to speak in-Wellington on a convenient date. . ■ ■ • Sir Robert Lockhart arrived in Wellington by the Mam Trunk express yesterday to pay a farewell visit to friends hero, before Hβ leaves Auckland for a trip to England. - Captain Shannon, A.D.C. to the Governor, Who goes south with his Excellenoj this evening will do some deerstalking in Otago before returning to Wellington. : : Mr. J.
