THE BOY SCOUTS.
Arrangements have been made for Boy Scouts to visit H.M.S. Powerful this afternoon. They witf assemble near the Ferry .Wharf at 4.30 p.m., in uniform, and be taken across in one of the warship's boats. A route march under Spartan conditions has been decided on for Easter by the Miramar troop of Boy Scouts. They will start from the City boundary at 9.30 a.m. on Saturday. Their equipment will comprise four pounds of snip's.biscuit and four pounds of compressed beef, a blanket or two, an overcoat,. hatchet, pannikin, and knife. Shelters will be built, and the night spent at Tarakina Bay. 'Divine service will be attended on Sunday. On Monday shelters will be built at Shelly Bay. The fare may be supplemented by fish. If the weather should' be' unsettled the nights will be spent under roofs. .'
