As is usual' at Easter,, there 'will , ha plenty .of holiday., attractions., in ajwl about Wellington.during the. Easter holidays, which commence on next. The chief even* ' wdi beo.tiie. second test' cricket match/ between Australia and New Zealand, which will commence on the Basin Reserve, on Saturday next, and will be continued on Easter Monday, and -Tuesday. : New Zealand will be -represented^ by a. combination which, though possibly not th» best available, should put up a good-fight against their redoubtable opponents. ... ... . . The racing community will, as usual, be liberally catered, for.- There.™ 1 be races at Tauherinikau on Saturday and Monday ; and at Feilding on Monday and Tuesday, and there, is almost certain to be a pony v meeting wedged m betwoen somewhere during.the holidays. The Wellington - Provincial Lawn Tenuis Championship Tournament _wiU commence on the city courts on Good Friday, and contmue. on. the following Saturday and Monday. Tto. Port Nicholson Yacht Club is to hold its annual picnic on Easter Monday. The' theatrical event of Easter wiU be the first performance in Now Zealand of J. M. Barne's charming fantasy "Peter Pan," a quaint fairy plaj which has completely captivated the theatre-going public of all the large centres of EnglanS and America. At the King's and His Majesty a Theatres, and St. Thomas's Hall, /good picture prolamines will be presented, Pictures will also' be shown , at _ the Opera House on Good Friday night, and at the Town Hall on Easter Monday night. The Fuller Vaudeville Company will present a holiday programme at the Theatre Royal, and Mr. Maughan. Barnett has arranged to give an orgai -. recital on Good Friday evening. ; ' ' ■
