Wanganui thus won the championship aud the Beseon Shield now becomes their property.. ' , . :

In the B ! grade. Nelson and Gisborne tied with 130 points; ' Wanganui City Band bfring next with 116. Nelson therefore won the 6hield with a total of 378 points, Gisborne being next with' 368, and Wanganui third with 852.
