At the Juvenile Court two boys pleaded' guilty to of obtaining 10s. from James Farciuharsoii under, false , pretences... .Accused, who had. passed'off a gilded farthing ns-.a, half-sovereign; were ordered to refund the' money,'and to come up for,sentenco;when'.called .upon.'.

. Claud Smith and. F. A.'.Ringhain. were charged with:breaches of-prohibition orders, 'and; iyere .each .fined. 1 205., in : default seven days'imprisonment,; .. '.'

.■C. ■ H.. Beynon .pleaded guilty to a charge of selling liiider-weight bread. It was explained by, Mr.. Smith (defendant's counsel) -that Beynon ; did not ,work on the. prenlises himself,,but had'always '.instructed -his.-foreman not to allow.any. -wider-weight., bread go out of,.the bakehouse'. A tine, of 20s, ,wa6 imposed. Two., 1 prohibition borders' were issued .a'gainst local residents. . ....-,.
